The NEXUS Pipeline –a 50/50 joint venture between Enbridge and DTE Energy– entered service in October, 2018.  NEXUS Gas Transmission provides much-needed, clean burning and affordable natural gas–from the Marcellus and Utica shales in Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia–to markets in Ohio, Michigan, Chicago, and Ontario.  NEXUS closed on the acquisition of the Generation Pipeline in September 2019 – a 24-inch, 23-mile natural gas pipeline, fully contracted at 355 million cubic feet per day.  This is a natural market area extension of NEXUS to serve the Greater Toledo area of Ohio.
