In 2013, NEXUS began developing plans for a 255-mile interstate natural gas transmission pipeline to deliver natural gas from eastern Ohio to southeastern Michigan. NEXUS Gas Transmission will help meet the growing demand for natural gas in the Great Lakes Region. A 50/50 partnership between DTE Energy and Enbridge, this pipeline will deliver clean-burning natural gas safely and economically, all while minimizing environmental impact. The project is expected to be completed in late 3rd quarter 2018.

Providing expanded natural gas infrastructure in Ohio, Michigan, Chicago and Canada to meet the demand for safe, efficient, clean energy.

Monitoring our transmission pipelines is an important part of our safety program.

If you detect any safety issues, leave the area immediately without trying to locate the source of the leak, and call 844-589-3655.
