    David Slater is president and COO of DTE Midstream. The Midstream company is the only independent, mid-cap, C-Corp, gas-focused midstream investment opportunity with exposure to the Marcellus, Utica and Haynesville shales with connection to major demand markets.

    Slater joined DTE Energy in 2011 as senior vice president of DTE Gas Storage & Pipelines and was subsequently promoted to executive vice president of DTE Gas Storage & Pipelines in 2014. In 2015, Slater was promoted to president and COO of DTE Gas Storage & Pipelines, and he is a member of the DTE executive leadership team. Prior to joining DTE, Slater held various senior management positions at Goldman Sachs and Nexen Marketing a top-10 North American Energy merchant. Slater has over 25 years of experience in the energy industry where he has worked in both commercial business development and operational roles.

    Slater earned a master’s degree in Business Administration and an honors degree in Business Commerce from the University of Windsor.

    Slater is on the board of directors for Millennium Pipeline, Vector Pipeline, Nexus Gas Transmission and the chairman of INGAA (Interstate Natural Gas Association of America). He is the elected board chairman of a local faith-based organization and director of a charitable faith-based foundation.

    Richard Redmond leads the operations, engineering and construction of DTE Midstream.  He previously led DTE’s gas production businesses in Northern Michigan and North Texas.  Prior to DTE Energy, Richard worked at CMS Oil & Gas as Vice President of Operations, as well at Amoco Production Company in a variety of engineering positions around the world. Richard earned a BS degree in Petroleum Engineering from Marietta College.

    Chris Zona leads the implementation of DTE Midstream initiatives.  He has played key roles in the acquisition of Link assets, bringing NEXUS Gas Pipeline into service, expansions on Bluestone, and completing DTE Midstream’s first solo FERC project with the Birdsboro Pipeline.  Prior to joining DTE, Chris held various engineering, planning, construction and operations management positions for ANR Pipeline Company and SEMCO Energy Gas relating to gathering, transmission & storage operations.  Chris earned a BS degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Detroit.

    Gregg Russell is responsible for all commercial aspects of DTE Midstream’s transportation, storage, and gathering business platforms as well as new business development/acquisition activities. Prior to joining DTE, Gregg was with Energy Transfer Partners. Through his almost 30 years of experience he has commercially managed interstate/intrastate pipeline networks with over 13,000 miles of pipe, 550+ customers, 14.6 Bcf/day of total throughput, and over 160 Bcf of storage. He graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.

    Garrett Mehl oversees the operations, engineering and construction of DTE Midstream, Northern Region.  Prior to DTE Energy, Garrett worked as the Director of Engineering for Superior Appalachian Pipeline and for various engineering firms. Garrett earned both a MS degree in Engineering and Technology Management and a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, Golden, Colorado.

    Paul Teske

    Vice President, Southern Region DTE Midstream

    Paul Teske oversees the management and operation of the Southern Region assets of DTE Midstream in the Gulf Coast and southern states, and he is based in the Houston office.  Paul brings thirty-plus years of experience in the natural gas industry covering operations, engineering, strategic planning, business development and senior leadership.  He has previously worked under the DTE helm for MichCon, DTE Energy Services, and DTE Gas Resources.  Paul most recently held the position of Chief Operating Officer for a natural gas production company headquartered in Texas.
