The DTE Care Force program promotes volunteerism and engagement within the greater community. During 2018, DTE Energy achieved world-class volunteering status when more than 50 percent of the workforce volunteered their time. A total of 5,100 employees volunteered 88,000 hours to more than 800 community nonprofits. In addition to Care Force McCarthy grants, the DTE Energy Foundation also supports hundreds of nonprofit organizations across the communities we serve.
Our NEXUS pipeline project made a $12,500 donation to Lincoln High School (Washtenaw County, MI) and was the title sponsor of the district robotics competition held March 15-17, 2018. Forty teams participated in the event, and several of those teams will be participating in the FIRST Robotics World Championship event in Detroit, April 25-28, 2018. Read more.
